Is the sketchy drawing of the boy a placeholder for the real artwork?
....this may be one of the rare few mc's I ACTUALLY agree with! Erza really DO seem like a looser. And a clingy one to boot. Yuck.
(Nothing against anime and fantasy, but his personality... >_> But that's the point I suspect. So good job. lol)
The 'hot side character' do have the promise to be hot. He reminds vaguely of Sol from The Kid in the Back --lookwise. (Another yandere game here. I love Sol. Every tiny ever-so-slightly-creepy/dangerous acts and all. :heart: )

...hot guy still sounds like a dork, but Imma gonna chalk that up to manipulations for now. (As in; he sounds like a nice guy. I don't like nice guys. But if he -is- a yadere, he won't be a nice guy. So it's all good. lol)
It was a pretty short game, but I like it thus far. ^_^

yes!!! i plan to update the game more lol, this was just a beta and lots of things are subject to change, including the artstyle (the one rn was just a placeholder for the actual one lmaoo) but thank you so much for the comment! and yess ive been told he looks like sol from tkatb haha, i didnt mean for it to come across as so but its a nice coincidence :3 i hope the next update will be to your liking!
Hey, I love how Sol looks (and acts --but that may be because I'm insane. ^_^ ) so I'm very happy with that coincident.
(That game is going viral now, btw, and it's not even finished. Well worth trying if you like yandere games.)

For some reason I cannot properly download the file for windows.
Which sucks, cuz the game looked kinda fun.

i just tried downloading it and dang bruh i can't believe it didn't work either.. i think it could be due to the fact that the game title was too long and idk if i can change it because MY LAPTOP WONT LET ME??? THIS SUCKS BALLS!!! i'll be uploading the second beta in a week or two and i'll do it with a shorter title so it SHOULD work but i'm not too sure either. if you could wait until then i would be most grateful! thanks for letting me know of this issue <3

hi just wanted to ask if it was an issue running the game because of extraction issues? if it is, you could extract it into your downloads folder instead! it worked for me :3 if it's with the downloading part itself, i'm not too sure. could you give me more information? are you not able to download it all?
Nope. I simply cannot download it.
Every single other game on itch downloads just fine.
But every time I try to download THIS game, it comes down as an empty zip-file.
As in: there's nothing in it to extract.
But if you're uploading a new beta, I'll try to download that one instead. Thanks. ^_^
I tried this game out just for the heck of it because I honestly couldn't help myself X3
I love Yanderes and the thought of putting one in a Hallmark Christmas movie (At least on Purpose) was really hilarious, so I gave this a shot.
I know it's a beta/still in development, but some of the aspects about this I really liked even if it's not a permanent staple.
For example the adorable chibi sprites, specifically for Ezra as it really goes to show why the protagonist thinks so little of him and potential danger because of how cute and honestly flustered his sprite is most of the time.
The art for Ai is also very cute, but he doesn't have the bonus Ezra does where he has to look harmless because of his personality X3
I think that in the future maybe it should be explained just a bit more what the MC means by Ai being a sentient character and how they know that Ai, did he look at the camera and wink at the audience members during the movie and that's why the MC knows that?
That aside, I also love the blurry Christmas-y backgrounds.
Because genuinely it makes it look like the MC has watched so many Christmas movies that it's literally blurry to their psyche because it's all the freaking same all the time.
It was a really good Beta and if you decide to keep going with this I would love to see what you have :3
